Lean not mean security (English spoken)

Most business people regard security procedures in their organisations as inhibitors to being able to do business. Most business people also regard security procedures as a cost to their organisation. ...and most ICT departments are struggling with the challenge to make ICT security lean and not mean. This should not, and does not, have to be the case.

Best working practices for security will:

• ensure appropriate security with maximum convenience;
• protect business assets whilst delivering value to the organisation.

This session will show how this can be achieved. To do this we will have to take guidance from Albert Einstein who said "We cannot solve problems by using the same kind of thinking we used when we created them".

New best working practices will be derived by interactively applying "out-of-the-box" thinking to a robust security framework called SABSA. This will show how good security can actually be an achievable benefit to any business.
